A natural mathematician, Phillip spent his childhood studying number theory, solving puzzles, and taking apart his mother’s appliances. It was frustrating for her then. Now she gets it. This fascination with analysis of complex systems has translated into a successful career in technology where he has found an outlet for his curiosity as well as a place to foster his passion for mentoring others.

Philip has led technology initiatives at EDS, Ernst & Young, AT&T, Great-West Healthcare, and Arrow Partnership. He has managed teams of up to 450 people, supervised vendor contracts of up to $200 million, and spearheaded technology projects up to $110 million. Throughout the busy pace of these projects, he takes the time and makes the effort to create growth in his coworkers.

In his most recent role, Philip led the product engineering and technology operations for Rivet Software. Over a two-year period Philip grew the original technology team of three to include 50 developers, testers, and system administrators. He oversaw their proprietary SaaS product, scaling it to support customer growth from 40 to more than 1500. His team delivered a comprehensive work-flow solution to manage the growth of the services team from 20 to 600 resulting in recognition on the CIO 100 awards list.

Philip is a Brit who has adapted well to the Colorado lifestyle. A husband and father of two teenage children, family bonding activities include cycling, skiing, hiking and cooking at home. Philip’s not so secret ambition is to one day own a restaurant.
